We offer a wide array of services on offer including one to one training sessions, regular body composition check-ups, nutrition advice & meals plans or monthly online personal training mentorships. About Me

Hi, my name is Mark Grimes and I am the founder of Apex Body Performance. I am a personal trainer, coach, nutritionist, blogger and fitness fanatic that has trained & worked in the fitness industry for over 17 years.

In that time I have worked in many gym environments learning my trade as well as taking part in many voluntary sport intern-ships & other industry related opportunities. The highlight of these was to work with Wigan Warriors Rugby Team in their academy providing strength & conditioning training in their pre-season and working for supplement provider ‘MyProtein’ writing articles for their ‘MYZONE’ blog on their website.

I am experienced in all aspects of fitness specifically nutrition, strength & conditioning & cardiovascular fitness as I believe they are all linked to ensure optimum performance, health & well-being and I am constantly researching and studying to keep my knowledge up-to-date and at the forefront of the industry.

I am a very “science-based” trainer and use training methods that have been “proven” with research over the years to be effective so you can be assured of results & if I do not know the answer to a question or problem that arises you can guarantee that by the time we meet again I WILL know the answer.

Most importantly I am passionate about health & fitness and love to look fit, feel healthy & perform to the best of my ability. I am also very passionate about helping YOU feel the same way and I will not quit until you do and will dedicate my time to helping you achieve your own personal goals.
